Denon PMA-680R
Integrated Stereo Amplifier
Remote & manual included, Made in Japan
The Integrated Amplifier which
investigated operativity pursuing pure sound quality by a large-sized toroidal
transformer, adoption of the new structure SLDC, etc.
The toroidal transformer is adopted as a power-source part.
Unlike the conventional transformer, a toroidal transformer is what wound the
coil around the doughnut-like ring core, and has the characteristic excellent in
fields, such as a stable supply of current, and prevention of the leakage flux
and vibration.
In order to suppress the mutual intervention of each circuit, new structure
S.L.D.C. (Signal Level Divided Construction) is adopted.
By dividing the treatment of a signal into the microcomputer block handling
Loule Bell Brock, a high-level block, and a digital signal, the electric mutual
intervention during each block is suppressed.
By adoption of low impedance volume, the impedance of the volume control circuit
was lowered and the S/N ratio in a general listening level and aggravation of
the frequency response are prevented.
The equalizer amplifier corresponding to all of the MC/MM cartridge is carried
by switchover control.
It is possible to bypass control circuits, such as Bass, Treble, Balance, and
Loudness, by carrying the sauce direct switch and turning ON.
The linkage side of AC outlet is interlocked with remote power on/off.
The system remote control which can respond to CD player of DENON, a cassette
deck, and a tuner is attached.
Moreover, it is also possible to remove the sound from a speaker with the muting
switch of a remote control main part.
